Empirical results demonstrate the effectiveness of treating text at the character level and applying convolutional networks (ConvNets) for text classification on various datasets. An ablation study and test on a sarcasm detection dataset provide further insights into the architecture.

I worked under the supervision of Prof. Sridevi in a team of three at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli on my undergraduate capstone project. The project focuses on improving object detection accuracy by using fusion ensemble methods on the bounding box coordinates.
